Dr. Ledoux received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 and he has been at the RR&D Center of Excellence in Seattle since that year. He is an Affiliate Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and an Affiliate Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington. He has helped advise graduate students from Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Bioengineering, and has advised five students in the Medical Student Research and Training Program.
