Research Interests

Mike's research interests focus on compensatory mechanisms of gait in response to osteoarthritis; User-modulated devices to control socket volume in prostheses; Assessment of plantar surface shear stress in the foot; Machine Learning modeling techniques applied to difficult biomedical problems; Multisegment rigid body modeling of the foot/ankle complex.
